Pacific Wildlife Care – Wild @ Heart Fundraiser

Date: August 5, 2017

Location: Swallow Creek Ranch, Cayucos

Join Pacific Wildlife Care for a day of camaraderie & wild delight in support of SLO County wildlife.

Why You Should Come:

Two reasons — You’ll have a fabulous day, and your support is critical for wildlife rehabilitation! Not only is PWC celebrating its 30th anniversary as a nonprofit, we are the only organization in San Luis Obispo County, an area comprising 3,125 square miles including 100 miles of coastline and the Carrizo Plain, that rehabilitates injured, orphaned, sick and oiled birds, mammals and reptiles. To that means, each event ticket includes a portion of which is a tax deductible donation.  We rely on the community to recognize the intrinsic value of our life-saving work and provide support for the animal’s basic needs until healthy enough to be returned to the wild. It takes a village–wildlife veterinarian, trained staff and volunteers working diligently toward this mission in partnership with the community. Right now is our slowest period of monetary support while our clinic is filled to capacity with patients being treated, fed and caged, species-specific, because baby animal season is in full swing. So far this spring, we have seen almost 400 baby birds and mammals and there are still four more “baby” months to go.  The fact is that we are never without patients.

So… Join us early or Join us late for a day of camaraderie and wild delight in support of SLO County Wildlife. Just Don’t Miss It!  This unique property is not otherwise accessible to the public, so Don’t Wait because Tickets are Limited!
