Blueberry and pomegranate with semi-pungent notes of cigar box and cedar wood on the nose. Rich and mouth filling flavors of dark fruits up front, followed by strawberry and rhubarb pie. This is a big wine that should continue to develop into unknown territories.
This is the wine that most people have been waiting for. It is the replacement for our super popular 2012 Central Coast Pinot Noir, which sold out earlier this year after a great and successful run.
Chocolate covered cherries is the predominant aroma of this wine. Hints of herbs and a tea leaf as well. Rich and ripe flavors of bittersweet chocolate and blackberries along with black fruits and sexy toasted oak linger forever. A thread of crisp acidity coupled with sturdy tannins helps maintain the finish and provides for a very complex and luxurious sensation.
